Busy Day Today…

Today some Tranquility residents can hear the boats cruising on Carters Lake while relaxing on their screened porch. That’s how close our community is to this beautiful recreational site. 🚤🚤🚤

Carters Lake Water Level

Wow…it’s hot!!!! To help produce additional power, due to increased demand, the lake elevation will be fluctuating more than normal. This fluctuation is because of the ability to pump-back and reuse water from the re-reg lake. Always wear your life jacket, stay hydrated, and limit your exposure to the heat!

Maintenance at Tranquility Park

One of the advantages of having an owners association is the maintenance of our community’s common areas.

Picnic shelters and swings are being repaired and strengthened to ensure users’ safety at our neighborhood park.

Thank you to our volunteer Board of Directors for the time and effort each of you give to keep our community such a beautiful place to live.

Catch and Release

Thanks to our neighbor “Trapper D” for his expertise in wildlife management! Today he is relocating one of the two armadillos that had taken up residence on Harris Creek Drive. He’ll be resetting his humane “critter catcher” to catch and release the other. Great job, Trapper D!👍

Before and After

Our Tranquility at Carters Lake entrance sign at the intersection of Hwy 382 and Doll Mountain Road was obscured by overgrown plants for a few years.

December 2020

But thanks to the time, effort and gardening skills of our Neighborhood Volunteers this sign is now clearly visible.

Thank you, Neighbors!
