The plant below is known as Winged Sumac also known widely as Shining Sumac, Flame-leaf Sumac or Dwarf Sumac. It is non poisonous, deciduous shrub native to eastern North America. This plant is highly valuable to local wildlife; it’s persistent winter berries provide essential food for dozens or birds and mammal species.
