Tranquility at Carters Lake is a planned and gated community near Carters Lake in Gilmer County, Georgia. The homesites are wooded and range from one to two acres. Many lots back up to protected Army Corp of Engineers property. Others afford mountain views or creekside frontage. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and are maintained by the TACL Owners Association.
